The Trial Warrior Blog Turns 2 Years Old

Today is the second anniversary of my blawg, which I started on August 11, 2009.

Since then, I have written 456 posts on a variety of topics on law, ethics, justice, politics and society. By blawgospheric standards, admittedly a modest output , but it is not the number of posts or comments. Rather, what I value most is the support and interest of my fellow blawgers and readers who have taken the time to visit, post comments and provide feedback. The only statistic that I am interested in is the number of returning visits: 6777:

Anyone who blawgs for personal, rather than business development or marketing reasons, will tell you that blawging is a labour of love, not love’s labour lost. I hope to continue blawging until I have nothing else to write or think about. Freedom of expression is not only a constitutional right, it is an intrinsic human value and personal responsibility. Cogito Ergo Blawg.

Thank you.

Thanks very much, Erik. I’m not even half-way to your impressive 1000 blog post milestone. As Robert Frost wrote in his timeless poem, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening:

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
