Kudos to Kevin Carroll, President of the Canadian Bar Association in stepping up and taking a leadership role in helping Haitians in their most desperate time of need.
From the CBA website:
In the wake of the devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti, CBA President Kevin Carroll is asking the Canadian government to expedite the processing of immigration applications to reunite Haitians with close family members in Canada.
The CBA is also in the process of establishing a website with a list of Canadian immigration lawyers who are willing to work pro bono to assist those with relatives in Haiti.
